Every Step Matters
This month was filled with joy as children in the Children of Jesus program received brand-new shoes through the loving support of their sponsors. For many families, shoes are a luxury—something purchased only once every few years due to the daily struggle of providing food, shelter, and basic necessities. For these children, a new pair of shoes is not only practical, but also a reminder that they are seen, loved, and cared for.
The children were excited as they tried on their shoes, many smiling and proudly showing them to their friends. Some had outgrown their old pairs long ago, and others had been wearing worn, patched shoes for months. What may seem small to us is truly life-changing for them. Each step they take in their new shoes is a testimony of God’s provision through the generosity of sponsors.
In addition to the joy of receiving shoes, many sponsors will also be receiving letters this month from the children they support. These heartfelt notes are a way for the children to share their gratitude, prayers, and daily lives with those who walk alongside them from afar.
