Give me Your Double Portion!!!
After 10 months of dedicated prayer, tireless work from the Denver and Lima staff, and countless hours of practice from the Peru and Denver praise teams, God poured out the double portion of His Spirit upon the 500 participants of ABBA Elishas 2025.
ABBA Elishas took place at an Air Force survival school in the mountains of Lima, Peru. Pastors’ kids and leaders from across Peru gathered to reignite—or establish—their faith in Jesus Christ and to be filled with the double portion of the Holy Spirit (2 Kings 2:9) to fight for the lost souls of Latin America and the world.
Anointed speakers shared the Word of God with power, teaching on justification, sanctification, and glorification. The participants also learned that before they are pastors’ kids or leaders, they are first and foremost God’s children. The Lord touched every heart present. Some pastors’ kids arrived broken and burdened, yet they surrendered it all to Jesus, committing to follow Him for the rest of their lives. These participants were not only raised up as spiritual warriors, but also as God’s generals—leaders who will guide the next generation in the battle for lost souls.
One of the most moving moments came when the pastors’ kids had the opportunity to thank their leaders and parents for the sacrifices they had made. It was a beautiful scene of one generation passing the mantle to the next. During times of praise and worship, participants poured out their whole hearts to honor and glorify God. Tears and smiles overflowed throughout the conference space as an offering to Him.
No one left the same way they came. They returned home restored, strengthened, and filled with a renewed purpose in Christ—to do the will of the Father. Even as they traveled home, pastors’ kids and leaders were already sharing the Gospel in airports and singing praises on the plane.
Please continue to pray that ABBA Elishas 2025 will not simply be an emotional high that fades in a week or a month, but a true encounter with God—one that equips these young pastors’ kids and leaders to fight for their friends, families, and co-workers, and to stand firm against the spiritual forces of evil.
