Eagle’s Nest
A Faithful Shepherd in Pachacútec

In the Pachacútec region of Lima, Peru, Pastor Juan Pablo continues to serve his congregation with quiet faithfulness even in the midst of profound personal loss.
For years, Pastor Juan Pablo and his wife ministered side by side. Despite ongoing health challenges related to diabetes, she remained a steady partner in the work of the church. After the couple was involved in a car accident, her condition worsened significantly. In time, her declining health led to her passing. Today, he carries on the ministry alone.
The needs in Pachacútec are great. In this region, access to food and medicine can be limited, and malnutrition remains common among families. Each Sunday, meals are prepared for those who gather. Ministry expenses continue. Daily life continues. And yet, much of what Pastor Juan Pablo once shared with his wife now rests solely on his shoulders.
In the weeks following her passing, fellow ABBA pastors in the region visited him, praying, encouraging, and standing with him in brotherly support. We thank God for this unity within the body of Christ. Still, his practical needs remain ongoing.
Through the Eagle’s Nest ministry, we are seeking to provide Pastor Juan Pablo with 500 soles (approximately $170 USD) per month. This support would help cover food and ingredients for Sunday meals, church and ministry expenses, and general living needs as he adjusts to serving on his own. Even shepherds need support.
If the Lord places it on your heart to help care for this faithful servant, we invite you to prayerfully consider becoming an Eagle’s Nest sponsor for Pastor Juan Pablo at $170 per month. Your partnership would allow him to continue ministering to his community with stability and encouragement, knowing he does not stand alone.
