First Fruit

Last week marked our 31st anniversary, and we praise our awesome God for using unqualified people like us to reach and touch so many poor children and wandering youth over the past 31 years. The Lord gave us Matthew 25:40 as our theme verse and commanded us to feed, clothe, and visit the poor and neglected children around the world, especially through local churches in each community and region.

After all these years of partnering with so many local churches, we have some of the most exciting and joyful news to share. One of the churches we’ve been supporting has decided to start its own internal COJ project this October. They have chosen to transform from a receiving church into a giving church.

This church, “Strong Castle Church,” located in Satipo near the Amazon jungles (Pastor Perez Reyes), will begin supporting the children in the Pangoa region—the very region God revealed to us only a few months ago as we sought His guidance for our ministry in Peru. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 126:6: “Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” God is ever faithful and great, and we give Him all the praise and glory.

We will continue to update you on this exciting development. Thank you for your faithful support of the Children of Jesus ministry.
