Brick by Brick

Four hours away from Cusco, in the quiet but packed town of Sicuani, Pastor Isidora faithfully serves over 50 children and their families through the Portico Salomón Church. For years, gatherings have taken place in a small hidden room off the main road. Despite its limitations, the church has been a place of joy, teaching, and hope for many children growing up in difficult situations.

As the congregation grew, it became clear that they needed more space. In 2018, with prayer and determination, the church family began saving for a new building. Everyone—from the youngest child to the eldest grandmother—has contributed, giving what little they could. Through their efforts, the foundation and walls are now complete, a powerful testimony of their faith and obedience to God.

The next step is the most important: the roof. Without it, the building cannot move forward with electricity, flooring, or other essential work. The cost of the roof, however, is beyond what the local congregation can manage on their own. We are praying for God’s provision and for sponsors to come alongside us. With $4,000 USD, we can provide a roof and help Pastor Isidora continue building a house of worship where children and families will grow in faith and hope.

UPDATE 12/2025: Thanks to the generous support of loving sponsors, the Pórtico Salomón Church in Sicuani has finally been able to install a roof—protecting their congregation from the harsh winter storms. This marks a long-awaited answer to prayer for Pastor Isidora and the 50 children and families who gather faithfully in this small mountain community, four hours from Cusco.
In their heartfelt letter, the church shared their deep gratitude: For a long time, we prayed and worked hard, trusting God to complete this work. Now, every time we meet under this roof, we will remember how the Lord moved hearts to make it possible.”
From the elderly to the youngest children, the entire congregation joins in thanking God and the sponsors whose love and obedience made this blessing a reality. Truly, everything done for the love of God and His work carries eternal value.
