COJ Food Baskets

Whether we enjoy it or not, grocery shopping is a routine part of our lives. It’s because we need to eat food to maintain our health and live. Yet, in Peru these basic and essential foods are becoming less affordable due the inflation the country is experiencing. In fact, it is the food and household costs that are experiencing the greatest spike.

With your support, the pastors of the local churches participating in the Children of Jesus (COJ) program all across Peru will be purchasing items like rice, noodles, milk, eggs, fruit, salt, sugar, and oil, and delivering them to a total of 615 families of COJ children. Priase the Lord that the entire family will be blessed with this food basket. It has been difficult to find ways to help the children during this pandemic due to restrictions, but we thank God for providing this opportunity to help fill one of the biggest needs children may be facing at this time.

This is all possible through your ongoing prayers and support. Please continue to pray, specifically for the safety of the pastors who will be doing the work of buying the groceries, then putting together and handing out the food baskets. Thank you!
