Location:  Lima, Perú

Pastor:  L. Minaya Robles

founded:  November, 2004

Number of members of the congregation: Adults - 10,   Children – 50

demography of the area:

The community is located in the top of San Juan de Lurigancho, called "Santa Barbara".

The economic resources are low and houses are built of rustic materials; the community doesn’t have water or drainage.

The water is collecting in cylinders. Some children are not attending to the school because they take care of their brothers while their

parents work.

Despite this situation, they encourage their self to go to the school.

The Church has been working in the community since 2004.

First, it was a small group, and then was formed as Church in 2004 under the leadership of pastor Maria L. Minaya Robles.

We have a land that its semi built, of 90 m2, we need to finish the project of the floor and ceiling for the temple.

We are located in a borrowed place, because we need to remove the stones that are in our propriety, the stones are too heavy but we

are slowly decreasing the amount.

PASTOR TESTIMONY:

Before I was born, my father met the Lord Jesus as his Savior. My parents taught me about Jesus from the time I was a girl and we

always attended church.

As there was no Sunday school, my father taught me the Bible and I received my Lord Jesus as my Savior, when I was 7 years old.

I am working for fourteen years in the ministry since 2000 until this now. We started with nothing but now we have our own land, which cost

us many tears and difficult situations.

The Ministry “Children of Jesus” was precious in my life; I learned to serve my community and to administer our economy with fear and

trembling before my God.
