Evelyn Osorio Carpio, 16 years old, testifies that she has experienced liberation from rebellion in her home and from hatred of the church brethren:

First, I give thanks to God for the pastor’s visit to interview me.  At first when I went to Abba Peru I was resentful, I hated the brothers and sisters of the church, and I did not feel right.  It is said that in order to pray one must pray with sincerity.  When I went to church I was just bored, I felt angry, and I did not like any of the people at church.  When I went to Abba Peru my life was changed.  On the first day I saw 5000 teenagers from other places, and I listened to the Koreans who preached.  Their preaching was beautiful, because it changed the life of each person.  I give thanks to God too because He changed and transformed my life.  I was a different person before God changed me. I had a bad heart, a bad character–my mother knows that.  I give thanks to God because He was the one who changed me.  I want to always be His daughter from now on, because Abba Peru began today.  As the pastor said, Abba Peru does not have to end in our lives.  Abba Peru really began when we left the conference.  I also give thanks to the pastor–as my sister says, he chose each one of the young people to go.  I give thanks to all the missionaries who came from various countries.  I am thankful for their preaching; each one was good.  Many thanks to you, and I thank the Lord once again because He will always be in our hearts. Even though we might leave Him, He always follows us with his hands of love.  He always loves us and will never stop loving us; even though we might escape he will never stop loving us.  I just want to say to the young people who will hear this preaching: I know that some will not go to the Lord, I know that some are lost in the world, but the Lord will always be watching them, because the Lord chose them from their mother’s womb.  He chose their names, because the Lord wanted you to be His children.
